Hey, everyone! Oh my gosh. After going back and forth about starting a photography blog, I decided that it was time! I love doing what I do, working as a San Diego Photographer. It allows me to meet new people and capture story-telling moments that your eye might not see. Wedding days can be stressful, which is why that is my thing! I will send your wedding day gallery to you that really tells how it all went down!
My journey started May 4th, 2018 at my sisters wedding when I had imagined my time of life I was in if I could ever become a wedding photographer, I always wanted to start my own business. I mean I’ve always loved taking photos (on an iPhone,) it was always in the back on my mind. Watching my sister’s photograph, I found myself watching her all night from the bridal party portraits, to the bride and groom portraits, to the reception. It was a dream come true in my eyes! With this, I thought about how I would do it, and normally when people think things are out of reach and unrealistic they start making excuses for themselves.
However, I did the opposite! The next few weeks I went to the store to buy myself a computer and started from the ground up! I had a Nikon D3400 DSLR from the previous Christmas and did my first free practice sessions with that! From this moment I fell in love with the art of photography! And here we are now….
In spite of this being my first blog post, I feel it is only right to share a little bit about me and my life!
Come say hi and follow along on my journey! You will find I use social media to always update my portfolio, and my life! It allows me to connect with friends, family, other wedding vendors, and of course my new couples!

Love it!! And the first photo of your sister looks incredible, I can’t believe it was your first one! You have such a cute family.
Yes! That was my first photo from my first session! I was thinking the same thing, it still kinda matches my current style with minor changes now! Thank you though! All thanks to you!
I’m truly happy for you and how far you have come. I remember when you got your first camera D3400, and then making your first big purchase to kick start your business, crazy how time flies. Now look at you, you been published in multiple magazines, traveled to several places on photography business, had several weddings and have made many friends along your journey. Sky is the limit mama, keep it going
Aww Ashley… love to see how you have grown in your professional career. I’m so happy to have found you and have you as our family photographer.
