If you are looking to tour some San Diego Wedding Venues for your 2022 and 2023 weddings, I am so excited to share with you some of my favorites!
Hi there, friend! My name is Ashley L. and I am a wedding photographer based out of San Diego, California. What I do is capture beautiful weddings for couples who love the classic, light and colorful look. Being a wedding photographer brings me such happiness because not only do I get to serve couples, but also photograph weddings at beautiful venues. The view does make the difference in photos and so here are three of my favorite places to photograph weddings!
Bldg 117 is such a beautiful venue and located in the heart of San Diego. Inside the venue it has all white walls with so much natural light coming through the windows and high ceilings that make inside look super elegant! The amount of different spots for portraits is unreal! It is located in Liberty station which is an old naval training center with tons of pretty awesome backdrops! It is located in near the airport so you will hear planes taking off which makes it a pretty cool spot to have you wedding. The staff is super nice and they have a cute little suite across the way for the bride to do touch ups or even for for a few moments for the new couple to take it all in.
If I could pick anywhere to have my own wedding, it would be here! I love Carmel Mountain so much. There are several places here where you can shoot your own wedding, This wedding venue in San Diego is elegant, comfortable, and absolutely light and airy. I think one of my favorites is the lawn to have a ceremony. Amenities include bridal and groomsmen suite, great spots for portraits, and a lot of parking. Which I know is not easy to find at venues these days near the city!
This venue here is on my bucket list to shoot at, and I am sure you can see why based on their website. Grand Tradition is such a gorgeous venue. This venue is perfect if you want a garden wedding. What I love about this location is that if you want your engagement session there, it’s free! They will give you garden access for your session as a thank you for choosing them for your wedding venue.
Writing this blog was so fun because I love sharing some of my favorite wedding venues in San Diego. If you are having your wedding at any of these three beautiful venues, reach out to me here and I would love to set up a time to chat more about it!
