Hey, reader! For those of you who are new here, let me introduce myself. My name is Ashley Lanzarotto and I am your new favorite light and colorful wedding photographer based out of San Diego, California. I love serving couples who value and love photography, and want all the special moments captured from their wedding day. Recently, I photographed an intimate backyard wedding and this Temecula, California. This wedding was one dreamy, warm, and joyous day. Everyone gathered around for this wedding to take place for Sarah and Arnold.

Their love story

You will find this to be a real and raw Nicholas Sparks movie. Sarah was previously married and had lost her husband to cancer just a few years ago. What brought her joy during this time of sorrow was Arnold. You see, they both teach at the same high school and knew each other for over twenty years. Arnold was also married during their years of friendship at the school. It was not until after Sarah becoming a widow, that something flourished. One random conversation with Arnold lead to an internal spark. She felt something different when around him, and just had this feeling that he was going to be in her life more intimately.

A year or so has passed, but the feeling never went away. They both started to see each other more and more after school, planning day trips and hikes to explore the world and also explore the spark that has been placed between them. It was one day that Arnold confessed that he felt something strong with Sarah. He wanted her to be his girl.

As their year went on, their love blossomed fast. They knew a few months in that they were going to get married. Many inside jokes, nicknames, and hints of marriage later, Arnold finally asked her to be his wife. She said yes in an instant, and both celebrated with such joy!

Intimate Backyard Wedding

This wedding day was truly a romantic and emotional one. Personally, had me in tears! I wanted to go ahead and give a HUGE shoutout to the incredible vendors who came together to make this day amazing for Sarah and Arnold!
